Right Wrist Fractures with Surgical Repair - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit depicts dislocated comminuted fractures of the distal radius and ulna. The illustrative board consist of two color interpretations of x-rays of the wrist post-injury and post-surgical repair. It also include one surgical step where it shows incision made at the junction of the Kaplan's cardinal line and the radial border of the ring finger to expose the transverse carpal ligament and release it to decompress the nerves and vessels (carpal tunnel syndrome).
