Right Orbital and Facial Injuries with Surgical Fixation - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This is a depiction of a displaced zygomatic complex fracture and orbital floor blow-out fracture with impingement of the infra-orbital nerve. Three different approaches for surgical repair of the zygomatic complex fracture are illustrated on this exhibit: first, through a temporal incision to elevate the zygomatic arch; second, through the lower eyelid incision to repair orbital floor and the orbital rim; and third through two superior buccal incisions for placement of additional plate and screws.
