Left Shoulder Injuries with Surgical Repair - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit begins with two illustrations of the left shoulder illustrating the pre-operative condition: acromioclavicular bone regrowth, adhesions, hypertrophy of the biceps tendon stump, and synovitis. Next, multiple steps of the surgical repair are illustrated, including the insertion of arthroscopic instruments into the shoulder joint, synovectomy, debridement of the rotator cuff and acromioclavicular joint, conversion to open procedure, and excision of the distal clavicle.
