Lumbar Spine Injury with Radiating Pain - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This medical exhibit begins with a posterior view of the female torso for orientation. Four attempts at pain management are depicted in the three following images. In the first image orients the viewer to the trigger point injection and the sacroiliac injection from a posterior view. The next two attempts , an epidural injection and a myelogram are shown from the sagittal view. They include the the lumbar spine illustrating the L4-5 disc injury including bulging and degeneration of this disc. The proximity of this injury to the cauda equina and right sided nerve root is clear in this image.
