| This medical exhibit depicts a hernaited lumbar disc and a diagnostic procedure ( discogram) to evaluate the level of injury. These steps of the procedure are shown: 1. Discography needles are placed into intervertebral discs in the lumbar spine; 2. A needle is entered into the nucleus pulposus of the L4-5 intervertebral disc; 3.
